IMPORTANT! Please read the following before our arrival:

In order to ensure the safety of our staff and customers, we follow government guidance. The following guidance is to protect both our customers and staff.

Our Responsibilities

  • Our staff will wear personal protective equipment, such as gloves and a face covering where appropriate.

  • We will use antibacterial gel before we enter and after we leave your premises. We may also wash our hands as we arrive and leave.

  • We will maintain a 2m distance from you where possible, or a 1m with risk mitigation (face covering) for short periods where 2m is not viable to discuss a problem or solution.

  • We will avoid transmission during appointments, for example, from sharing pens, documents and other objects.

  • We may start a service on-site, and then complete it remotely in order to reduce the amount of time spent on-site.

  • We will typically allocate the same engineer to come to your premises where multiple visits are required (this is standard practice for us anyway).

  • We will bring our own food and drink (if required) and will take any breaks we have outside where possible.

  • We will hold meetings outdoors or in well-ventilated rooms whenever possible.

Your Responsibilities

  • Please ensure you maintain a 2m distance from our staff where possible, or a 1m with risk mitigation (face covering) for short periods where 2m is not viable to discuss a problem or solution.

  • Please limit the number of people/workers within a confined space to maintain social distancing.

  • Please ensure all internal doors (where we may need to access in order to carry out our services) are open to minimise contact with door handles.

  • Please identify busy areas where people travel to, from or through, for example, stairs and corridors, and minimise movement within these areas.

  • Please maintain good ventilation, for example keeping windows and doors open before our arrival. Our staff may open windows to allow air-flow.

  • Please ensure our working area is clear and clean before our arrival, and has been cleaned with an antibacterial cleaner where possible.

  • Once a problem has been explained/demonstrated, please increase your distance from our staff as much as possible, and ideally remain in another room.

  • Please consider wearing a face-covering if you have one.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot carry out work in a household which is isolating because one or more family members has symptoms or where an individual has been advised to shield.

  • If our staff deems an environment as unsafe to work in, they will politely ask for adjustments to be made. They can arrange to return at a later date if these adjustments are not possible immediately.
